Knowsley Safari Trip

Class: Class 3 Year: 2021 - 2022

On the 30th June, Class 3 had a very exciting trip to Knowsley Safari Park.
We set off at 9am and it took about an hour to get to the park. When we got there we had a workshop in the Outdoor Tiger Classroom all about habitats. We got to see some different animals' skulls!
Then we had a walk around the park. We saw giraffes, meercats, tigers, river hogs, tapirs, emus and even the world's smallest dog!

Next, we went to watch the sea lion show and eat our lunch. The sea lion show was fantastic. We watched Louie and Roger do lots of tricks but Roger was being a bit naughty and not doing as he was told!

Finally, we got back on the coach with Ben who worked at Knowsley. He took us through a guided driving tour. We drove through all the animals' enclosures and got to see the animals through the windows. At on point, Ben told us to look right because there was a lion. He didn't tell us the lion was hanging in a tree so was very close to the window! It gave us a fright!

We had a amazing day!
