Brilliantly British Day

This Friday was a fantastic day to celebrate all things British with the Royal Wedding happening at the weekend. All the children in Hapton School enjoyed a picnic lunch outside in the new playground surrounded by flags and British music and all dressed in red, white and blue clothing. Throughout the day all the teachers taught the children about the British Values and the children did different activities and work focused on the British Values. In the afternoon, the school council decided to host an afternoon tea for Class 1 and 2 children and parents. The afternoon was a great success with parents and family members enjoying coffee and cake in the sunshine with the children. Teachers got the chance to talk to the parents and family members about British Values and about what their children had been learning about that day.
