Music (curriculum)

Autumn term -

This term in Class 4 we have been warming up our singing voices and using the music scheme Charanga to support this. Throughout October (Black History Month) we focused our Music lessons on Stevie Wonder and his amazing work. The children explored his music and then created posters about his life and what he achieved. 

We then took our musical abilities to the next level and started to learn how to play the recorder. The children were very patient and we managed to play some simple songs in time to music. We will continue our recorder work throughout Spring term too.
