Outdoor Learning Environment
Class 1 have been busy creating a bird watching hideout in their outdoor learning environment, the children have been looking out for different types of birds and trying to find out their names. The children then decided to go to 'sea' on their boat and look for some sea birds!
The children have also been investigating using their ‘Senses’, the children particularly enjoyed using their sense of 'smell' outdoors as someone in a nearby garden was making a fire and they could smell the smoke! The children then showed lots of interest in this and started to ask lots of questions such as why does a fire make smoke? We had a great afternoon!
